How do participating institutions benefit from this program?
Each college and university in the program receives exclusive access to the database with the names of students that have actively joined the Colleges and Universities of Excellence program, including ways to contact them, GPA/ACT/SAT scores, academic interests, events they have competed in during their high school forensics career, and graduation year.
Having such well-rounded and empirically successful students enables the NFL to connect its members with interested schools and scholarship dollars. From there, Colleges and universities that have created NFL specific scholarships will contact students about the opportunities available at their school.
Colleges and universities who would like more information about connecting with NFL students should contact Adam Jacobi, Coordinator of Member Programs and Coach Education.
