The NFL is happy to provide exhibiting and vending at the 2008 NFL National Tournament in Henderson/Las Vegas, Nevada. We greatly appreciate the services that you provide to the forensics community and hope that, once again, you will join us for a wonderful event. This page will establish all guidelines for vendors. Continue reading for additional details.
For more information or to reserve a table please contact Heidi Christensen at hschristensen@nflonline.org or call 920-748-6206.
NFL is pleased to provide space and tables for vendors because they provide useful products and services to NFL members. However, as you can imagine, there are many important elements to the running of the National Tournament. It is essential that vendors not impede on the operation of the national tournament or exhibit where local rules do no permit selling of products.
Permission to exhibit and vend at the national tournament is a privilege not a right. The only vendors and exhibitors allowed to vend and/or exhibit at national tournament sites (hotels, schools, auditoria, meeting halls, etc) will be those licensed by NFL. Non licensed vendors will be ejected from tournament premises.
Exhibitors and vendors need to understand that local rules may prohibit vending in some sites. Usually licensed exhibitors may do business at all tournament venues. Hours of vending and exhibiting shall be set and enforced by NFL.
NFL will provide one table, or space for a convention booth and table, with access to electricity (ordered directly through the National Forensic League and payment MUST be provided in advance). Electrical connections on Sunday will cost a fee of $100 per outlet used and MUST be arranged directly through the NFL National Office. NFL will not provide power strips, power cords, or any other electronic equipment. All electrical needs must be arranged individually through Heidi Christensen at the National Forensic League. Click here to reserve electricity. A second table can also be rented for $200.00.
Exhibitors may exhibit or sell at registration (8am - 3pm) on June 15th, 2008 within the Student Center on the campus of the University of Nevada Las Vegas. In addition, exhibitors may exhibit at any one of five competition venues June 16th-17th, 2008, and at either of the two main high schools on June 18th-19th. Vendors may switch locations on separate days without additional charge by notifying the NFL. However, multiple locations on the same day will cost a fee of $200 per additional location.

Nevada businesses may contact the NFL Nationals Host Committee to arrange for vending and exhibition licenses.
National vendors of speech and debate materials, national publishers and businesses outside Nevada must receive a license from NFL. These provisions will be strictly enforced. The NFL Nationals Host Committee will license only local vendors. All others must contact NFL for a license. Improperly licensed vendors will be ejected.
Basic Fees
Additional Fees
Unfortunately, we have had issues in the past with vendors and advertisers delaying payment. Since the fiscal year for the NFL ends shortly after the National Tournament, delinquent payments put an unnecessary burden on the League. We will no longer be able to allow individuals to vend at the National Tournament unless all outstanding invoices for Rostrum advertising and all vending fees are paid prior to the National Tournament Registration. Please remit payment immediately after making your table reservations with the National Office. It is extremely unfortunate that we have to be so strict with this policy, but it seems to be the only way to insure that payments are made in a timely fashion.
No vendor may sell T-shirts. Only the Desert Lights NFL Nationals Host Committee may sell T-shirts. No other vendor may sell T-shirts of any kind. Sale of other products sold by the local host committee is also prohibited; caps, mugs, stadium cups, legal or flow pads, sipper mugs, water bottles, tournament pins.
At the top of this page, you will find a diagram of the general expo layout. Tables will be reserved on a “first come, first serve” basis. Please keep in mind that because the vending may occur in the foyer areas of the UNLV Student Center, the NFL will do its best to place you in a position that best reflects your reserved place, however, the NFL will make the final determination of ALL booth locations.
To reserve a table and locations please call Heidi Christensen at 1-920-748-6206.
