The National Forensic League Chapter Manual is the most concise resource on the NFL. It contains information on the following:

• membership in the the NFL
• the Rostrum
• student and instructor points
• tournaments
• degrees of distinction
• a general timeline of a competition year.

This Manual has both basic information on the league and advanced descriptions of what the league has to offer.

It is necessary that every NFL sponsor read and understand the Chapter Manual. Students should also make themselves aware of the activities and methods for which they can receive NFL points and advance in distinction.
